Telephone technician and cable runner for my uncle's telecommunications company. In other words, I was the guy that the professionals didn't want to take along with them because that meant they would have to go behind me and redo everything.
Grace. Sure, I hear about that word all the time but only recently have I begun to understand that God's grace is everywhere. It is there when I wake up, it is there when I go to sleep. It is there when I succeed and it is there when I fail. My whole life is summed up by the fact that I need grace. God continues to teach me how to live a life of gratitude regardless of what life circumstances I find myself in. Even there His grace finds me.
ROLE AT HULEN STREET
I get the wonderful privilege to lead the church body in corporate worship at Hulen Street Church. My role as a pastor is to stir the hearts of believers to offer their own personal worship to God through various experiences involving the arts and media. It is my desire that Sunday morning worship and other events like it serve to act as a culmination of the personal worship that has been happening all week, not just a one-time thing. I want the church to see corporate worship as a highly participatory act, not one that they are content to sit back and watch.
Aaron has served with Hulen Street Church since 2012.
