Colossians: Victory in Jesus

Our victory in Jesus, despite the famous hymn, has deep biblical roots that often go unnoticed. Colossians invites us to embrace that victory in ways we don't normally associate with "winning."

Week 1: Colossians 1:3-14 - Because of what God is doing, the Colossians can look forward to a life of maturity: strength, love, hope, knowledge of his will, and endurance.

Week 2: Colossians 1:15-29 - Jesus rescues us from sin and death, but he also continues that rescue into maturity.

Week 3: Colossians 2 - Knowing Jesus is the center of our faith: He is fully God, he has fully washed us, and fully delivered us.

Week 4: Colossians 3:1-17 - Jesus gives us victory over sin: putting the “old man” to death, and embracing the “new man” through the Scripture.

Week 5: Colossians 3:18-4:6 - Jesus gives us victory in our relationships: we can live sacrificially because of the maturity Jesus is delivering to us.
