One:8 Weekend 2017

October 27-29, 2017

At One Eight Weekend, we explore God at work in Fort Worth and around the world.
This year, we had three ways to participate.

Meals with a Missionary

Ryan and Susan have been serving for three years in the Middle East. Home in the USA, on furlough, they stopped by Hulen Street to share about the ways God is moving in a region where being a Christian is often a death sentence.

Convoy of Hope

Saturday, over 40 volunteers from Hulen Street joined the Convoy of Hope Community Event here in Southwest Fort Worth where roughly 5,200 guests were provided groceries, medical and dental screenings, family portraits, haircuts, as well as many other services- all free of charge. Most importantly, the guests were given the opportunity to meet with a prayer partner who listened to the guests' stories and prayed over whatever situation they were facing.

Courtney K., Rachel G., Stacie R., and Jon R. helped bag and pass out groceries at The Convoy of Hope Fort Worth Event.

Missionary Booths

Saturday night was wrapped up with a Festival of Missionary Booths, a time for Hulen Street to highlight our missionaries from all around the globe to share stories from the countries they serve.
