What Is Your
Church Like?

Finding the right church can be intimidating, especially if you are new to the neighborhood or have not had much church experience.
You may even be browsing this site right now to get an idea of what Hulen Street Church is like before you show up on Sunday morning.

Here are 6 questions that will help you know what our church is like.

1. What type of people attend HSC?

We sit right in the middle of one of the fastest-growing areas in Fort Worth. Many people at Hulen Street Church are working professionals, students, young and established families, and new Fort Worth residents.

2. How do people dress?

Everyone is encouraged to attend our church in whatever attire they feel most comfortable. Most ministry leaders and staff wear jeans, comfy sneakers, and a favorite shirt. You will feel right at home no matter what you wear.

3. What type of music do you play?

Most of our worship is contemporary (Passion, Austin Stone, North Point Worship, etc.). We also appreciate the depth and poetic beauty of the classic hymns many grew up hearing, and will add a modern twist to them.

4. What is your teaching like?

Our teaching is always biblical, informative, and applicable. Our services are about an hour long that includes a 30-minute message. If you watch a message before you visit, you can get a good sense of what they are like.

5. What type of church are you?

Although we don’t consider ourselves to be a typical Baptist church, we do cooperate with the churches in the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.

6. What types of programs do you have?

We work to provide safe and fun programs for your family (birth–12th grade) during the week. We also offer groups for adults of every age range that meet at different times during the week, offsite and on-site.
