FIRST JOB 
My first real job was as a janitor for our church. We mopped floors, cleaned toilets, and renovated an entire upstairs wing of the children's ministry building. That building burned down a few years later. I'm pretty sure it wasn't my fault.

INSPIRATION
The people that are most inspiring to me are the “normal” people that do the daily necessary things for others in the name and love of Jesus. I still remember a guy when I was in college that worked the local bagel shop. He loved people so well as he chopped bagels that I thought, "This must be what Jesus was like." Plus, he had long hair.

ROLE AT HULEN STREET
I'm the Discipleship Pastor at HSC. I get to connect with people in our community and make sure that we are becoming a church that helps the people in our circles know Jesus, find their place in our family, and their part in God's story.
